Biography

 

Rob Barnes is a digital engagement specialist at Redberry Digital with over ten years experience in devising compelling second screen experiences for TV and movie fans.

Starting out in broadcast television as Producer/Director in Sport and Entertainment Rob cut his teeth in digital working at BBCi, All3Media and LOCOG (London 2012 Organising Committee), followed by two years as Development and Creative Lead at Digital Production House The Project Factory. He places digital storytelling and strategy at the heart of all his work with a particular passion for interactive video and personalisation.

Credits include online companion sites for Britain From Above (BBC), and Ken Loach’s The Spirit of ‘45 (Film4/Sixteen Films), award winning app Sherlock: The Network (Hartswood Films) and most recently personalised video campaigns for The Martian (20th Century Fox) and Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (BBC Worldwide).
